Softwall Cleanrooms - Product Information:

Pacific Environmental Technologies? state-of-the-art Softwall Clean Isolator System is an economical way to meet your cleanroom needs. Its portable modular design creates a flexible and convenient cleanroom system, allowing for easy cleanroom expansions, classification up-grades, and with optional heavy-duty locking casters ? mobility! The Softwall Clean Isolator System? can achieve cleanroom cleanliness levels from ISO 4 through ISO 8 (Class 10 to Class 100,000). In addition, and if the application requires, the Softwall Clean Isolator System can also be designed as a negative pressure room for containment proposes or upgraded in the future to a modular hard wall system, using PETI?s modular wall panel system.

  • Softwall Cleanroom Softwall Cleanroom
  • Depicted above are two ISO 7 (Class 10,000) multi configuration cleanroom systems, which consist of multiple complete and individual free-standing cleanrooms. The four main support posts on each of the cleanrooms feature quick release draw latches and catch-points allowing them to be disconnected and re-connected in a variety of configurations. Softwall curtains are fabricated out of a non out-gassing, ESD safe material. This design approach helps to accommodate clients with ever-changing programs and applications.

Softwall Cleanrooms - Technical Data:

CLASS VERSUS HOURLY AIR CHANGE RATES (ACH)
  • CLASS 100,000 typically 25 to 35 air changes per hour.
  • CLASS 10,000 typically 45 to 60 air changes per hour.
  • CLASS 1,000 typically 75 to 120 air changes per hour.
  • CLASS 100 typically 250 to 350 air changes per hour.
  • CLASS 10 typically 400 to 600 air changes per hour.

FILTER CALCULATION BASED ON CLASS AND AIR CHANGE RATE
FILTERS REQUIRED = AREA X CEILING HEIGHT X ACH/ 650 CFM*

* Note average filter cfm output can vary between 600 cfm to 750 cfm depending on filter manufacturer and the external pressure drop the filter is subject to.

Softwall Cleanrooms - Standard Sizes:

All of PETI's softwall cleanroom dimensions are rounded to the nearest 2', though we happily provide custom or tight-tolerance sizes by request. Cleanrooms containing dimensions of greater than 24' are typically constructed using 2 smaller cleanrooms of ideally equal size (i.e., 32'x16'x8' would be constructed using 2 adjoining 16'x16'x8' cleanrooms).

The table of links below provides conceptual plan views and/or photographs of the softwall cleanroom dimensions labeled, and assume a standard 8' ceiling height.
